purchased two C-kegs from adventures in home brewing last week, they arethe cornelius brand, I was in the process of disassembling them when I ran into a snag.. The gas in side ball lock post had a different style of post on it, the liquid side came off with a 7/8" open end wrench, this one looks like a 24 point star. anyone know what size wrench or socket I need to get
it off? Thanks Tom

it's a 12 point, same size, 7/8". I use a box wrench that has a 12 point closed side, something like this (http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=6970&productId=435996&R=435996)...
one thing to always remember, notice on the side of the gas post there's a groove. that's always the gas in post. some older corny's have identical posts except for that groove, so just a factoid to remember...

I use a 7/8 12 point deep well socket. It works on both sides.
