Just got this email from Jim Dorsch at Vienna whole foods:

Hello Everyone, and welcome to another decidedly unweekly edition of This Week’s Beer News.

The big news this week is Whole Foods Market Vienna’s Winter Beer Carnival, this Saturday, Dec 11 from 1-5 pm. At last count we had 48 beers that will be available for sampling, and foods to go with many of them. This is a free event. And by the way, pretty much everything we’ll be tasting will be on sale, many of them Saturday and Sunday only. I hope to see you there!

New in stock/back in stock:

Stoudt’s Fat Dog Stout (reformulated as a true imperial stout) and Double IPA (http://www.stoudtburg.com/1-bottle-conditioned.asp#3)

Three Floyds Pride & Joy Mild, which if I recall, has got to be the hoppiest mild I’ve ever tasted.

St Feuillien Cuvee de Noel (http://home.mn.rr.com/artisanal/St.Feuillien.html)

Allagash Curieux (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/rate_results/4/16909, http://www.ratebeer.com/Ratings/Beer/Beer-Reviews-38037.htm)

Wow, what a great list! I would have loved to head out there, but I just had a nasty wisdom tooth extracted, so I'm couchbound for the moment.

I just picked up a single of the DH Old School Barleywine, darn expensive for just one bottle, but I am really looking forward to trying it once I get my mouth healed. As I recall, it is a staggering 15% ABV!!

I think I have one in my beer fridge. Hope that tooth does not keep you down too long. You could self medicate using the Old School :D
