The Toronado is proud to present a cask version of this years Godfather Barley Wine.

Sounds like a tasty one and is a good primer for the Barley Wine Fest coming up in February. Can anyone say 40 gnarley wines on tap? I knew you could. No need to trolley to the land of Make Believe for this event.

won't be able to make it to the cask speakeasy (i haven't really had many of their beers, are they good?) cause it's 2 days before my last final, but i am looking forward to the barleywine fest. it sounds like madness.

It's crazy all right and ugly on the verge of gnarley! ;) Make sure to eat a big breakfast and plenty of food between rounds. We usually try to taste them all, but quite a few aren't really up to grade so the tasters get left behind on the table. Your senses will be blown asunder after the first two dozen or so leaving just the basics for descriptions like sweet, hoppy, cardboard, cheese, blaaa, ect.

Too bad that you can't make the Speakeasy nite, they always have great beers to offer. The last one being cask Big Daddy that was dyno-mite! It'll be interesting to taste the Godfather with a little dry hopping.
