Disclaimer: I believe I took these notes in late Summer as I bought the Weiss, Wit, and Pils on a return trip from Michigan's U.P.

Denmark Brewing LLC, Denmark, Wisconsin (LLC? - no one ever answered what this might mean). 22 oz bomber.

From the label: Belgian style white beer – brewed with orange peel and coriander.

Hazy straw to gold color with a thick, pillowy, white head.

Fresh, mellow orange in nose with coriander back. Spicy Tetnang type hops apparent with some warming.

Tart to sour citric initial flavor with bready wheat malt back. Smooth coriander or Tetnang spiciness in finish, wheat malt aftertaste.

Medium body with a smooth mouth-feel and high effervescence (they should be using this yeast in the Dunkleweizen!).

While not as crisp and light as some Wits, this was a great quencher, the spices and orange making a nice taste alternative to "plain" beers.

"LLC" means "Limited Liability Company" -- it's just descriptive of the way the company is organized, like you see "Inc." in some company names. Means nothin' as far as beer's concerned.

Learn something everyday. Our garbage pickup is called Doug's Disposal LLC. Often wondered what the LLC was all about. My guess was Licence Legal Company. Why you had to be licence and legal to pickup garbage beat the heck out of me.

A Limited Liability Company has the advantage of being a hybrid between a partnership and a Corporation. The advantage of a Limited Liability Company is that most states require fewer formalities be observed in an LLC in comparison to a corporation.

Advantage: One LLC Member Required. Historically, most states require that a Limited Liability Company be comprised of at least two LLC members. Today most states and the IRS recognize the single-member LLC as a legitimate business structure.

Separate Legal Entity: Like limited partnerships and corporations, the Limited Liability Company shares a similar advantage -- it is recognized as a separate legal entity from its "members."

Limited Liability: Ordinarily, only the LLC is responsible for the company's debts thus shielding the members from individual liability.
