For all you coffee-beer fans, I got this email from Town Hall last night:
Beer Fans,
This Thursday(12/9) we will release a very special brew. Black Snow will be released, and from 5-6 pm pints of that beer will be just $1 per! Here is the scoop on Black Snow..
We have teamed up with the fine folks at Peace Coffee. This is a Minneapolis roaster that produces a full line of organic, fair trade coffee...find them at(www.peacecoffee.com).
Two seperate meetings with their roaster TJ created a special "Town Hall Blend" made up of a both Ethiopian and Columbian beans that created a perfect match for our porter. The result is "Black Snow" a 5% abv coffee porter that is delicious.
Stop in the Town Hall Brewery (1430 Washington Ave. S.) this Thursday and sample "Black Snow" the 1 product of two local crafts.

P.S. Eric just mentioned a food pairing he will be preparing Thursday Eve...Something about Coffee Porter Cheesecake and Glazed Beef Skewers.......Looks like you will be able to sample the goods from three local crafts
I'm not a huge fan of coffee beers, but I might check this one out. Sounds like a nice story about how they arrived at the coffee to use.
