i was wondering if there would be any problems with putting my co2 tank right in the walk-in with my kegs. i am in the process of converting an old freezer for my kegs but until i finish that i am storing them in my walk-in refrigerator at work. i wasn't sure if i could leave the co2 in the fridge as well or if the tank needs to be at room temp to function propperly...........any thoughts?

It should work fine in the fridge, though your overal "tank pressure" (if you are using a dual guage) will read a little lower when it's chilled.
You may also want to use some damp rid (or other moisture absorber) to keep condensation off of your guages/regulator.
i put mine in the fridge...the two cornies are in front, the co2 is in the back leaning against the cold zone.
