Seems this Austrian Brewery has just built a brewery in Berkeley. I believe that I have sampled the Trumer Pils before over seas but do not remember it. Sturm Have you tried this beer from Salzburg before? Anyone else tried it? Here is the site:

I'd be interested in trying the pils. I also saw an ad purveying Ayinger Celebrator on tap in the new Mid Atlantic Beer news. Yum.

Gambrinus, the co. that owns Trumer (as well as Shiner, Pete's and Bridgeport) bought the Golden Pacific brewery in Berkeley about a year or so ago. They are now making the Trumer Pils there.

I had a bottle a couple of weeks ago. Not a bad beer, at all. Definitely more of a German Style Pils, IMO. Don't really remember a whole lot about it, as it was a long day with a lot of beer.

Not really, only an hour or so. It's time for another trip up there.

I understand Hill Top brewing in VA beach may be in the market for a new brewer.
