Saxo Belgian Blond Ale, 8% abv

Poured big white head that settled nicely and stayed until I finished the beer; champagne bubbles; and was very clear gloden yellow until I dumped the bottom of the bottle into the glass. I got a bubble gum/yeasty/fruity nose, not as strong as I've got from other Belgian's but good.

Very light, typical belgian yeast & sweet taste. Good, fruity back. Very easy drinking and no hint of its higher alcohol content, except in its effects. I could see myself really enjoying this on a hot day, but today its still good.

Overall - A good beer I will be enjoying again.

Ahhh, maybe I should move to Belgium!

I know that feeling only all too well!

Good review, I'll keep my eyes peeled for it at the local purveyor of bubbly goodness.

As good as the Belgians can be, If given a choice, I'd still move to the UK first.:D
