Saxo Belgian Blond Ale, 8% abv
Poured big white head that settled nicely and stayed until I finished the beer; champagne bubbles; and was very clear gloden yellow until I dumped the bottom of the bottle into the glass. I got a bubble gum/yeasty/fruity nose, not as strong as I've got from other Belgian's but good.
Very light, typical belgian yeast & sweet taste. Good, fruity back. Very easy drinking and no hint of its higher alcohol content, except in its effects. I could see myself really enjoying this on a hot day, but today its still good.
Overall - A good beer I will be enjoying again.
Ahhh, maybe I should move to Belgium!
