I've seen that there is a new "brewpub" in St. Louis Park, MN called McCoy's Public House. (I actually don't know how new it is or when it opened, but I just heard about it.) I put the term brewpub in quotes, because I believe that their beer is actually brewed at their other location in Kansas City. Has anyone been to this place and how is thier beer? Their website listed a raspberry ale, and IPA, a brown ale and a dry stout. Wondering if this place is worth visiting?

Their head brewer in KC is a good friend of mine and a great brewer. He has multiple GABF medals for his beers and is a brewer through and through. The location in KC is in Westport and is a great place to just hang out and have some pints and I would suspect that if they put even half the heart into their product as they do in KC you will have some great beers to drink.

Thanks, that's good to know. My LHS is in St. Louis Park, so next time I'm there, I'll try to stop in. There hasn't been much publicity about them here, at least that I've seen anyway.
