So, We're going to try to pick a weekend for this convention thingy. Based on a previous poll, October seems like the best month. But we'll vote on a weekend in august, one in september, and two in october.

Here is the location (http://www.indianabeer.com/Brew-Michigan.html) that we've selected. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Chaz, Wort, or myself.

Please don't vote if you KNOW you will NOT be attending. However, if there is a chance that you MIGHT, go ahead and voice your opinion.

just note that the first weekend in october may be GABF, for those who care...the one thing I can say is that unless it is GABF weekend or I run tight of money, I'll be there :)

OOOOooh man would this be fun!

Presonally I hope that its a little closer to home (cause I'm selfish like that). :) But wherever it is, I'm sure that Jinja and I would have a great time.

I don't see a weekend for June or July!!! Hmmm...the rest don't really work with my schedule....

Skahtboi, The reason that we picked the time of year that we did, was because previous conversations had indicated that summer months would be hard for the majority of people. This was in no way meant to exclude anyone from attending.

If anyone else had any objection to either the location, or the dates, please, voice your opinion now. All comments will be noted and used for future decisions.

Staronstage, There are LOTs of places west of here that I'm sure would make great locations. If this event goes off well, I, for one, would not be opposed to exploring closer to your neighborhood.

What could be more important than beer?

Is that a rhetorical question?

Well, Ok, I've not cast my vote yet, and I just wanted to provide ample time if anyone wanted to "persuade" me in one way or another.

I can't be bought, but I can be rented!

Well go for it! Post what you think. (By the way I am planning on that Boston trip in January Bruno. I'm working on the details. I've informed my wife that I will be going.)

Well, it looks like a clear majority prefers Oct 14, 15 and 16, 2005. If all who plan on attending could send me a PM with the number of people coming, kids, how many rooms, etc., I will see what I can find for hotel rates in the area.

This is gonna be cool. Does anyone have ideas for specific events or activities that you would like to see?

A very good question. An excellent question! Perhaps there is a way that I could swing one of these weekends, so I will defer to the wisdom of the board.
