just a reminder, get those beers in... see you there, I'll be judging Thursday and Friday, then heading to the dinner/awards ceremony at Summit Brewing on Saturday night...

edit: if you've never entered a contest before, there's a separate judging (by a select panel of very experienced BJCP judges, MN has three BJCP officers among our ranks...) for first time contestants. this is a great opportunity to get your feet wet...

an update and a bump :D

there are close to 400 beers entered in the contest already, and this many gives the benefit of each of the 28 styles getting it's own flight, so your mild doesn't have to be judged against an IPA, for example...

one more note, if you're a midwest homebrewer that thinks you're all that and a bag of malt, then you should know about the Midwest Homebrewer of the Year award. it's a series of 10 competitions throughout the year, whomever accumulates the most points in all these contest wins!
