I am looking for a place around the Daytona Beach area that sells any of the Sam Adams seasonal beers. I used to live in MA and this stuff could be found anywhere, but down here in FL, it's near impossible!

Welcome to the board. I beleive we had a thread a while back that listed an establishment in St. Augustine that had a large draft selection. Not sure if you're looking for beer on tap or bottles.

Ahh, well, particularly, I was looking for the bottles. Specifically I was looking for the cranberry lambic. Most grocery stores seem to carry the winter lager, summer ale, and oktoberfest around here, but none of the others such as the double bock and cherry wheat.

Here are a few stores closer to Orlando:

Check with your local packie and ask for the beer manager. He/she can find out if the local Samuel Adams rep even has access to the seasonals you want. If so, shouldn't be too hard to order a case.

Or, I know plenty of beer lovers who can't stand that the Cranberry Lambic is in their Winter 12-pk. Maybe they'd send 'em to you! ;)

Cheers!

don't laugh but Publix supermarkets typically carry the Sam Adams seasonals. I am also a NorthEast Transplantee and while I am happy we can get the seasonals here, miss the cream stout, double bock, etc. that are available all over New England.

You're right. I went into Publix and I found the Winter Lager. Not a bad start, but I am going to keep on searching to see what I can find....

Have you tried the ABC liquor stores? they seem to have a good selection of beers..

I was going to say Publix. My brother lives down there and I have seen his beers in those stores.

You could try the Sam website. I believe they list their distributors and you could contact them for information.

I believe the bar in St. Augustine is Rendezvous. They sell many bottled beers, infact all bottles no taps. I have been there a couple of times when visiting my wife's parents. You might get info from them too.

I actually called ABC tonight and they put me in touch with THEIR supplier who is the local distributor for "Boston Beer Co". I am going to call them tomorrow to see what they say. On their website http://www.srperrott.com/products.htm they claim to carry Samuel Adams seasonal. Maybe they will tell me who in town carries it if at all.

Ok, just got off the phone with the supplier. Apparently the holiday packs JUST came in today and I can place a special order through ABC and they can get it to me in 1-2 days. I'm going to ABC today and placing the order....we'll see what happens and I'll report back....
