So, if I wanted to set up a 5 gal. keg what would I do?
What materials do I need?
I saw one on e-bay for about $30 and thought what the heck...
Is there a link or thread about the set up here?
Forgive me but I don't know much about it, but that's why I enjoy coming here! Lots of info!
Thanks
:)

well, at a minimum, you need (in order, from one end to the other):
co2 tank (filled)
regulator
check valve
some cheap hose for a gas line
quick disconnect for the gas line
a corny keg
a beer line quick disconnect
some beer line
a faucet
if you have a fridge with room for a corny, and don't mind opening up the fridge to get a beer, just get a picnic (or cobra) tap.
there's a fire extinguisher place in downtown Mpls that's selling refurbed 5 lb co2 tanks, filled, for $30. You can get a brand new regulator from someplace like Superior Products for around $30 also. QD's will run you $5-6 each, although if you go the picnic tap route, most HBS's sell the QD-line-faucet setup for $10-12. so, it's possible to do this for under $100 if you shop carefully...
hey Chris Kanobi, can you post a link to your "cobra taps mounted in your fridge" pic?
