How many beers per week

OK, we have a poll that asks how many days a week you drink beer... but how about how many beers per week?

I voted 10-15. It's either 1 or 2 in the evening. More than that and I'm taxing my heart more than necessary -- it's no longer beneficial after 3 of them. Besides, the drunker I am, the less I can taste the complexities of the brew, and with my back problems, I stumble around enough as it is... I don't need any help!

generally 1-2 per day for me, with a couplefew more on the weekends. so, generally around 15, perhaps slightly more.

I voted 3-5. I drink more now that hockey season is here. I have to watch my intake as some meds I take are hard om the liver. I also devote a great deal of time to my boys, we love doing train shows, there are many this time of year.

I voted 5-10 per week. Alcoholism runs in my family and the wife feels that is enough. That amount makes me enjoy my beer all the more. I buy the expensive beer and thats all I can afford.

I voted 10-15 due to the fact my friends own the Blue Point Brewing Co. and my hubby and I hang out in the tasting room where you get free samplings of thier brew and we live less than a mile away.

I put in 10-15, it's closer to 10, i'd think. Depends on the week, I suppose. More beer consumed on the weekend than during the week, usually.

(Tarapin, you're lucky! We went to the tasting room a while back and I'd have to say it's one of the coolest ones we've been to. Very friendly and great beers. I can't wait til they're available in NJ! I haven't had the bottled IPA, but they had a Cask IPA on that was awesome.)

i had blue point's barleywine on cask at the gingerman in manhattan last winter... twas good indeed!!

Yeah, thier barleywine called Old Howling Bastard is awesome, it's really the only one I can drink more than 2 or 3 of. I'm going to a holiday party tonite where the have an aged keg of it. Only other barleywines I have had are Sierra BF and Old Fog Horn(which scared me). The next strongest and darkest beers I love to drink are Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout and Spatens Optimator. I had a friend that called the Black Choc. Stout liquid valium - he's not too far off.

I will not argue that point.But you do have some hope on the horizon,with Harrington and Williams.You also have one of the better coaches in the game.
