Stone 6th Anniversary Porter

I am getting chewing tobacco and burnt bbq. Is this the way it is supposed to taste? if so I will leave it to the people who enjoy that type of thing. blech.

thats not the way mine tasted, i just had an old rasputin last night for the first time. it's kinda like old rasputin but not as strong , a little more like velvet on the palate, old rasputtin reminded me of an espresso , 6th anaversary porter reminded me more of mocha.
they were close but not exactly the same im not sure which i liked better. was it kept un refrigerated for a long period of time? im not sure how long they will keep with out cold?

I have to 2nd Hopjack13 comparison to an Old Rasputin. I drank one of the Stone Ann. Porter....Old Ras was the 1st thing to pop into my mind. That's one big porter! I'd drink it again.

hmm I have had and rather enjoy old rasputin. This was nothing like it. Ok ill put this down as a bad bottle. Guess Ill have to try again :)

im new to this site, and browsing, im glad i came across it too, seems theres others out there whom love to spoil thier taste-buds (also, treating them well) after all.

well welcome aboard im a stone junky myself, my wife loves the smoked porter as well , im an arrogant bastard myself;) do you live in socal? have you seen the imperial stout anywhere? it was suppose to be released may 5th but i cant find it anywhere.

yes i have heard of the " imperial"...but nothing of its coming..i will have to double check on that. Meetin with some friends tonight, i'll get back to you on that. If i should run into it by some God good chance, first sip will be for you!

well i got a ticket in garden grove a while back and had to go to traffic school today, they went on and on about drunk driving (mine was a speeding ticket) finally i told the instructor i was going to start my own orginization called D.A.M.M. (drunks aginst madd mothers) he didn't find it amusing but every one else did:D
well i hope you find the imperial stout , if you do let me know where so i can get my paws on it. have you tried anything from the alesmith? oh i figured you were from socal hence the trade mark 13
