Another unusual question....

This may seem like an odd question, but I'll ask it anyway.

If I open a 5 liter keg, I can't finish the whole thing myself in one night. I know, I'm a wimp. If I were to bottle the remaining beer in Grolsch type bottles, would the brew lose it's cabornation? If no, then how long would it keep it?

More then the carbonation would be the problem with oxidation. You could transfer it but you have about 48 hours before you have stale beer that will taste like cardboard.

If you have some way to transfer it under low air conditions you might get a few extra days.

That's cool. I can deal with 48 hours! I may even be able to make a hose setup to keep oxidation to a bare minumum. Or is that me that will be bare....... Anyway, thanks for the info brewmonkey!
