It's a good thing he didn't use the Guinness Extra Stout, that would have had a brown head!

It's also nice to see the scientist can tell the diff between beer bubbles and soap bubbles! :P

Rocket-widget pub-draft bottles or bottles of the extra stout? The Ex has a rich, brown inviting head - just ready to overwhelm you with roasted-malt goodness. Grab the Oreos! ;)

I haven't found a bottle of Ex that I liked all that much... maybe I'm finding old bottles or something; there's just something missing. This ever happen to you, steveh? And if so, does it diminish the taste of the Oreos.....?

BTW, that's a rocket-widget pub can of Guinness just up and to the left of this post... note the creamy white head.:D

note the creamy white head.
i think that has something to do with the bubbles reflecting the light, you can see it under a microscope :p

I haven't had a bottle of Ex in a while - have to try one over the weekend. I imagine if the beer is off it could spoil the flavor of the Oreo!

Also BTW - The rocket widget is only in the Draught Bottles, the Draught Cans have a plain ol' ping-pong ball widget! ;) But they both create lighter colored heads than the Extra Stout.
