I drink at least one beer 6 days a week - sometimes 7.

Though I hate to admit it to myself: 6. Otherwise 5 but more often 7. If I could have a variety of great-tasting beers without alcohol in them (difficult, as you'd have to find a substitute for the taste of alcohol itself, let alone all the other compounds removed with it), I'd drink them. It's not the alcohol, it's the beer.
What am I making excuses for? Beer's great!

I voted 3. That number is more of an average depending on the time of year. At times I might go two weeks with out having a beer then turn around and have at least one every night for a week or more. It all relates to what my boys needs are at the time.
Now that hockey has started again I get one night no matter what.

For the most part, I pretty much have a beer every day. There are, of course exceptions to the rule, but generally every day.

Im with Stodbrew. Those exceptions get me quite frequently however and I go into several a day :p

I usually save up my beer drinking days and then "cut loose" 1-2 days in that week. I never could drink just "one beer". Kinda like eating one potato chip to me. :D

i generally try to match a beer with dinner just about every night, so i put seven. ill also often have one before or after dinner, but that's about it. on occasion it'll be 3 in a day, but very rarely more than that, especially now that Im no longer in college. i like to taste my beer, after more than 2 my palate starts to diminish.

I will buy a sixer of GOOD beer (generally Mirror Pond or a Copper Ale) and it might sit in the fridge for months...until my daughters cheapass boyfriend comes over and swills it when I'm not home. Grrrrrrr....

he and i will have to have a woodshed conversation about beer ettiquette ;)
according to the ama, 2 beers a day for adult males reduces the risk of heart disease and prostate cancer. if some is good, more must be better, that's my motto ;)
ok, the ama thing is true...and in general i have a couple of beers every day...some days i might even have a few coupled, but in general, about 2 per day.
I voted for 5 days, as an average. Usually weekend nights, and maybe 2-3 nights a week (or more)
I never drink beer within 12 hours of my next shift, which really intrudes on imbibing during the workweek. So that only leaves me two days to enjoy.

Just about once a week I'm too tired to stay up and have a beer; other than that, I'll usually have two. Darker beers, if I can... I'll try to have at least one. Good for the heart, right? ;)

I said 5. I definitely have at least 1 on Fri-Sun. Depending on the season I'll have 1 or 2 at extracurriculars (now is Darts season) on another weeknight. Then maybe one with dinner on one other night during the week.

i'd say on average, i have a beer on about 6.5 days a week. usually about 6 days, but i'm more likely to go 7 days than i am to go 5. and i've finally got a few batches of homebrew ready, so i'm back to drinking my stuff instead of buying it by the case... :)

Back in the day I'd have at least 1, maybe 2 good beers with dinner and after and then drink Miller Lite as filler. Staying up late, playing online shoot-em-up video games, surfing the net, chatting etc. I would have about 5-6 a night for a period of about 6 months.
then we bought a new house and I slowed down to about 2-3 a night. then I started homebrewing and drinking that like crazy! and over the last year I started buying only good beer. I've had one Miller Lite in the last 6 months maybe (a friend offered a "beer" and I said sure... now I remember why i stopped drinking it)
So now I only drink homebrew, commercial kegged beers or micros and craft/specialty beer.
This week we had the baby's baptism and also having a halloween party. My wife bought 4 cases of Bud Light for everyone and I feel dirty just having that crap in my house, let alone leaving it in my beer fridge next to $5 bottles of yumminess.

I go many nights with no beer at all. But when I travel I sample as often as I can. So some days it may be as many as 10 in a day to many days not even having one. At home it is whenever the mood strikes me. And weekends at the beach usually involve a slight imbibation. If I broke it down by numbers of beers consumed it would probably average 2 or 3 beers a day. (those trips to the UK really up my average).

I will buy a sixer (or 12'er) of GOOD beer and it might sit in the fridge for two to three days. I'm not saying that Jinja and I are hardcore unhealthy drinkers. I'm just saying we get thirsty a lot, that's all.
All joking aside we nearly always have a beer with dinner, so I voted 7. And every weekend we pick up at least a 12 pack. Doesn't everyone? :)

When I was working it was almost every day, especially if it was a cellar week. Now it is more like 2-3 days a month because of all the meds they have me on.

I have to agree with that, and if I could, I would have a midday reward with lunch. Usually have one a day and thats usually with dinner. Weekends, I will have a few more...
My vote: 7 days a week...

Aaahh ... the Friday Lunch Beer is so sweet. There is a little place 10 minutes from work called Jacks. And they have a mug club (after drinking 20 pints, they will fill any 20oz mug for the price of a Pint), which I am proud member of. Fish & Chips and a nice ESB are my idea of how to start the weekend early.

I generally have 1 or 2 good ones a night. Medicinal purposes of course!

you are so right, friday lunch beer is great. sounds like how it was at goose island, which was right by my work. drink i think 35 beers and drink from 20 oz. glasses (plus free growlers every 10, which was awesome. i was a member 2.5 times over). that was definitely a treat on a friday, get some good grub and a pint or two, and let the weekend begin. Richard will tell you that at one time a pint at lunch was normal in england. what a lovely thing to drink a nice low abv beer with lunch.

My husband and I have some beers on what we call our "date night." Depending on our mood we either buy a 6pk or 12pk. Once it's gone we call it a night until our next "date."

I'm pretty much a weekend-only drinker. Occasionally, I'll have 1 midweek, but that's not very often. Usually on Fri and/or Sat I'll drink six or so.
I think 5 would be a fairly acurate estimate. Certainly on Thurday to Sunday. On Monday I usually take an alcohol break (read: too tired) and there's Thuesday and Wednesday left to spend.... Hmmm ok it could also be 6.

5 is my average. This is due to the fact that there are days when I get home and opt for a glass of wine or a couple fingers of bourbon.

I put six. I generally have one (sometimes two) a night. I used to balance scotch or irish whiskey wil my beer intake, but, now that I'm homebrewing, I'm trying to disern differences in beer more and (more importantly) I need to get my bottle collection goin'. I only have enough good bottles for one batch. I'd like to have a few different homebrews hanging around so I can stop buying so much commercial beer (read save a little money)

Ya know, having the keggerator makes it so darn convenient to have a beer I really like, I rarely go a day without having a small glass, or two. It is also interesting to see how it changes over time.

When I have beer around I usually drink 1 bottle a day,I might have 2 and I rarely have 3.So if I get 2 6ers then I can stretch it out for 12 days, maybe longer.
