This is a local magazine article on the Oktoberfest.

He gets some of it wrong but for those who have never been it is a general Idea.

He needs a spell checker. And needs to enjoy some Festbiers next time he goes. Decent read though.
Prost!

I'd be willing to bet he was drinking Fest Biers and he thought they were Pilsners. And one thing they have at Oktoberfest that I have not heard mentioned in many articles Besides the Porta - Jons they actually have places where you can through up. Kind of like fiberglass sinks built into a fiberglass wall.

Hey - I would have gotten to it in time, but thanks anyway, and no worries.
You ever go back and edit your own post for spelling errors? I do that all the time... hopefully before I'm caught with my pants down and my dictionary hanging out! :D

I rarely go back and edit or re-read them for that matter. Most are purely typing errors as I am no typist. Back in high school my typing class was first period. Like I ever made that! :D

This guy writes for a beer magazine? Schutzen is not a brewery, but a family-owned tent sponsored by Spaten - first tent I ever visited at the REAL Oktoberfest.
Hard to believe he didn't do his homework beforehand to know about the tents and how big they really are (not to mention that they do set them up and take them down each year) - this sure ain't no amateur show!
Light and hoppy, Pils? Whoo - boy, no wonder he's suggesting Pepcid AC!
What a rookie, at least for my first visit I brought a veteran! ;)

It is not a beer magazine he writes for but a local entertainment guide. A freebie sort of paper.

I just saw "On Tap" at the top of the page -- makes it sound very "beery."

Studies have shown that men are more likely to proofread and correct their emails/posts before sending, than women are. Who knew?
Cheers!

They´ve been doing it for longer than most nations on this planet exist so one can expect a wee bit of professionalism :D
