You mentioned you´d be going to their Oktoberfest on Oct 9/10. Did you go ? Review ?

Yes, I went on Saturday. Good time - a nice place for families to go and enjoy a day. Beer and hard cider for the adults. Hayrides, pumpkin/apple picking, farm animals, brats/knocks, etc.
I enjoyed the beer, which I hadn't had before. Their Pale Ale was decent, the cider was dry, crisp and refreshing. Their Farmhand Ale (kolsch) was very smooth and easy drinking at 3.5% abv. And their Ofest was very nice as well - a bit darker than many, with a pronounced noble hop bite. I tried to get a few growlers to go, but they had a limited supply for the weekend and wouldn't let me buy any :( I don't review beers at an event when I am enjoying several (along with food) - my palate gets all jumbled and it wouldn't be fair to the brewer to try review it properly.
I did take home several growlers of the Farmhand Ale along with some 22 oz. bombers of Farmhand and their Amber Ale - oh and two flip-top bottles of cider. If/when you get back to the states, it's worth a drive over.
Prost!
