Okay, I can't wait to the end of the week to post about the up-coming Quivey's Grove Beer Fest. (http://www.quiveysgrove.com/beerfest/beerfest2004.htm) I look forward to this one every year because good friends and I make it into a nice long weekend away from it all.

The fest is great because it's nice and casual, runs just the right amount of time, and many good breweries every year! I can't decide, but I may have to camp in front of Three Floyds this year, though there's new-comers South Shore, whose beers I've tried and liked - not to mention Two Brothers - maybe some cask ale?

I know BluesHarp has tickets, anyone else going? Newby Longarm maybe?

Can't wait!

Looks fun! This weekend appears to be a huge weekend for festivals. One of the biggies in my area is going this weekend too. 'Cept I'll be out of town. Anyway, I think a brewfest held at a campground might be cool. that way everyone camps and does not have to worry about driving. It could turn out to be the Woodstock of beer festivals.

Well, unfortunately the fest isn't at a camp ground. We just take the opportunity to camp near by and take turns driving each year. The driver gets to cut loose at the camp later - 5 liter home-tapper of Paulaner Okto this year (amongst other goodies)!

We do the same at Stoudt's Fest. I take the RV to a local campground and then ride to and from the fest in a friends car with my wife as DD for us. She goes antiquing or to the pool while we're at the fest.
