Now that the Parallel Tasting Club has its own separate home, I wanted to inform those who might not know that I have setup a site to host the history of our tastings.
You can find the site at http://beerclub.homestead.com/realbeer/.
Have fun!

Steve,
The last file you sent me (on 9/28) was of the PU tasting. Do you also have the SNPA file in the same format? If so, send it over and I'll post it.
Thanks!

That's odd - it's the file b3s sent me that was supposed to have been the converted SNPA file... and that's the only chat I could have sent him, 'cause it's the only one I saved!
b3s?

You know, the BEER y'all were tasting?
Or did I lose those posts in one of these "easy-to-follow-threads" around here? ;)
(And yes, I got it about the other site, I'm just looking for a summary). :P

I think everyone enjoyed it. Some more than others. A nice sipping beer for a cold winters evening. 9% is a bit much for a session beer even though most of had the big bottles and finished them. Chimay Blue is my least favorite that we have tasted. I still have another bottle though so if you want to arrange another tasting since you all missed this one I'll force myself to try it again. :D
actually, i've found the dubbel to be an excellent session beer since most places, ahem, SERVE IT TOO DAMN COLD!
i've had it on draw a few times, and i always find myself waiting about 40 minutes before it's ok to drink and ordering another when i'm only half done.
now, at home, well, that's a different matter. i'll go through a room temperature bomber or two, but that's about it...

Sure you can join us, glad to have you. We still need to decide when it will be. Trying to get a date that works for most of us is hard to do. I believe Fullers 1845 will be the taste of the day. Saturday's at 3:30 pm cst. is the usual time. We just need to come up with a date.
By the way welcome to this site and boards...
