I'm new to home brewing and I just bought a kit. The directions make it sound like I should keep the Iodopher solution in my siphoning tubing when I put the tube in my beer. Shouldn't the solution be rinsed? Or, is it safe to just let the wort rinse the iodopher out of the tubing?

iodopher does not require rinsing.

I think you are referring to the actual siphoning of your beer (or racking?)
No need to rinse.
You need to have a liquid in the hose to get a siphon going. You can use water too. Just let the liquid flow into another glass or jug ect until the beer is flowing out though and then place the tube into your next vessel or bottling bucket.
Charlie Papazian explains siphoning in his book "The New Complete Joy of Homebrewing." in an easy to understand way.

A better way is to eventually buy an Auto-Siphon.

I agree with dream weaver. Out of all my gadgets, I got the most bang for my buck out of the autosyphon. For $7-8 you will definately wonder why you didn't order it sooner.
