Nope...but I did just make this:
Northern Brewer Double IPA (http://www.northernbrewer.com/docs/kis-html/1471.html)
With a couple mods...

Bluesharp,
I saw that IPA. It too sounds tempting. I haven't brewed any double/imperial IPA's yet. I've been playing around with amarillo hops a bit lately (mostly dryhopping and aroma in a columbus IPA kit I get). I have been very satidfied!
What changes did you make to the Doub IPA?

Basically, I changed the hop schedule a bit, and will add a dry hop of Amarillo. I also added a bit of wheat to the grain bill.
Here's my recipe:

Terrasco,
Keep the forum updated. I'm interested to hear how it comes out.

It comes with a lot of hops. Smelled fantastic at the end of the boil. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Transferred to secondary yesterday. Dry hopped with 1/2 oz. Amarillo and 1/2 oz. Crystal. Smells incredible.

Fantastic! Maybe a tad bit light on malt but overall an excellent hop flavour. Everything you can ask for as far as hops go. Good dark ale colour, nice head. Big hop aroma. Solid mouthfeel. Very good pale ale. Well worth it. I would recomend this kit.
