The neighbor and I have worked out a pretty sweet deal for brewing. He cant brew during the winter cuz its way too cold out for him and i cant brew because i dont have any gear to brew with. But...I have a garage. So we decided that I would only have to buy my carboys and cornies he would supply the brew gear and I would supply the garage and water and we would split the cost of the ingredients and make double batches. So this weekend we are going to do a batch of Pumpkin Ale.
Anyway, here's the real question: I currently have a 2 faucet tower that connect to standard sanke taps. Since I will be kegging my beer, I was wondering if there were any "quick" connect systems so all i have to do is unscrew the faucet line and the CO2 line and reconnect it to the corny tap.
Am I making any sense? Any suggestions?:(
Thanks

for the beer line, I'd buy a "tail piece to 1/4" MFL adapter" for your Sanke tap, and then corny QD's with the same 1/4" MFL connection... then you just unscrew your beer line when you switch...
for the gas line, I use air chuck QD's from the mega-hardware store, they're cheap and I've had zero problems with leaks...
(OK, I'm trying to make a conscious effort not to pimp just one homebrew store. regular readers probably know that Northern Brewer is my regular haunt. To try and not be a homer, I did search several other online HBS's to link the adapter, but nobody other than NB seems to carry it.... look here, two thirds or so down the page. Ok I found the tailpiece that you are talking about. Thanks! that should do the trick.
But what are you talking about for the Quick Disconnect for the CO2? That has me a little confused. Explain more if possible.
Sorry
Thnaks for all the info though!

do you have an air compressor? they're the same fittings... if not, check out www.mcmaster.com and in the first section, near the bottom, click on "Quick-Disconnect Hose Coupling", the picture in the "how to order" section is exactly what I'm talking about. Any mega-hardware store, tool store, auto parts store, etc, carries these cheap...

I have the QD on my compressor, but what and how do I get it to work. Forgive me if I seem simple. The barbed end comes out of my CO2 via the regulator to the shut off then into the barbed end on the screw that goes onto the tap.
I am confused as to how the QD would connect into the gas line. Do they make 1/4" female QD's?
Sorry, i am a little thick today:(

OK, check out this page from Northern Tool & Equipment (http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?PAGECOUNT=1&sortby=sequence&storeId=6970&langId=-1&catalogId=4006970&PHOTOS=on&categoryId=7371). both male and female pieces have a threaded end, you'll need to hit the hardware store and find a barb to NPT adapter so you can get your co2 line to the QD piece. Same thing on the female QD...
(i'm having some PC issues with my digital camera, or I'd just upload a pic of mine... sorry...)

no problem, i've found pics of all the pieces, hopefully this will help...
from your regulator, you have some air line. shove this (http://www.morebeer.com/detail.php3?pid=H418) inside the air line. put some pipe thread on it and screw it into this (http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=6970&langId=-1&catalogId=4006970&PHOTOS=on&productId=724022&categoryId=7371). Then, you'll need two of these (http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/LLCategoryDisplayView?storeId=6970&langId=-1&catalogId=4006970&PHOTOS=on&productId=803693&categoryId=7371), one for your corny QD and one for your Sankey tap. More pipe tape, and screw it into these (http://www.morebeer.com/detail.php3?pid=H419), a little more air line, and hook them to your Sanke and corny QD...
(my camera isn't busted, my problem is whenever I plug my card reader into my USB box and try to copy the pics, it locks up my whole PC....)
