Kansas City (or anyone else who wants to chime in).

Is it just me, or is Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat in the bottle NOT nearly as good as on tap? I wish they would have never attempted bottling this beer. Part of it's lure was the fact you could only get it on tap and the draft tasted great! It's still fairly true to its form, but something about it is just off (and yes, I'm pouring it correctly).

well...back in 96' ( feeling old) i was having breakfast at a casino in lake tahoe and decided to try the widmer hefeweizen on tap . i thought it was the best breakfast beer i'd ever had! then when i got back to so cal it was unavailable, years later it came to my city in the bottle. i was not impressed! it wasn't the beer i had rememberd . i've never had the blvd unfiltered wheat , but i can relate to the dilemma you are having

It is hard to say which is better-living now in MI I can only get it when I return home to St.Louis or on the road-I had it on tap this past week in Ames, Iowa-seemed a bit sweet.

My best memory of BLVD Unfiltered Wheat was the one time I made to KC to watch the Royals play the Ms-and a guy was selling it from a 5 gallon keg on his back-hit the spot on a very humid and hot KC day
