Moosehead?

So, I've got a friend who keeps telling me that I should try some Moosehead. He's claiming that they've "reworked the recipe", and it's a much fuller flavor (a little more malt, a hint of hops).

Now, the last time I drank Moosehead was college - about 12 years ago, and even then I thought it was crap (before I grew into the craft beer lover I am now). Has anyone tried Moosehead lately that could tell me whether or not it's worth my while to pick up a sixer?

Moosehead? Yuck. I had one a few weeks ago and it tasted as bad as budweiser (although it wasn't in top condition.) Peace, HN-

Moosehead was one of my first gateways into good beer, so it has a fond place in my heart. That said, I haven't had it in a long time, and I would probably find it pretty bland now.
