Better head out to Old Dominion

I just read this on another forum:

Last week we had some of the limited-edition Dominion Millennium aged in
bourbon casks which Jerry Bailey and the brewers at Old Dominion recently
bottled. It is absolutely marvelous. The 4-5 months of aging have enhanced
its mellowness and the bourbon barrels added wonderful bourbon and vanilla
notes. It should improve even more with additional aging. Smooth as silk, we
gave it scores of 9.0, 9.5 and 10.0 on a 10 point scale.

Dominion only bottled 220 cases and it is only sold at the Dominion pub in
Asburn. When I recently checked there still were well over 100 cases left.
Fairly pricey but easily worth it(about $100 a case, but sold individually
or in 6 packs,) it truly is worth a special trip.

I'm heading to the beach but I may try and swing by OD and pick up a case tonight or tomorrow.

No....unfortunately we had too much to do this weekend to make the trip out there. If you still have a few you'd like to sell I would definitely like to give it a try when we get back.

We are leaving for Italy (Sicily and the Aeolian islands) on Friday and will be back on the 12th. I doubt if there'll be much other than the usual naff lagers over there (but who knows, I was suprised the last time!) If I can get a bottle of something like Nora or Panil Barrique we could have a trade!

Yeah, I came back about 8:30 Sunday evening. My inlaws were in town with us. I've got some of the Dominion beer for you too in case you were unable to get any.
