Our tickets to the Quivey's Grove (http://www.quiveysgrove.com/beerfest/beerfest2004.htm) Beer Fest came in the mail today, and I'm probably going to pick up some tickets to The Great Lakes Brew Fest (http://www.greatlakesbrewfest.com/) over the weekend. Anyone else in the vicinity going to either of these (besides you Paige - I know, I know)

Wish I could go. Once our kids get a little older, I imagine (hope) that I'll be able to travel to the beer fests in the region instead of just the ones in the Minneapolis metro area. Both events have a nice list of attendees. Nice to see at least a couple MN brewers there! This must be a crazy time of year for some of these breweries, sending employees/reps out to all these beer fests. (crazy but fun!)

Steve,
I'd love to go and talk beer with you for a while, especially since the festivals are so close. BUT, my three kids are so young that my spare time is extremely limited. Even when I take the time to brew beer, I find myself having to run in the house to help my wife coral those little boogers. Maybe in a few years

I'm hoping for both, but I need to schedule with my "entertainment director"...I guess it's about time I get off my a$$ and get to it. ;-)

I'm really looking forward to the Great Lakes Fest! I'm sure that will BLOW AWAY the old Brewmaster's Fest in Kenosha (what a joke!)!
Then again, it will pale in comparisson to the Great Taste. hee hee...just rubbing it in, Stever!

How can it? I'll be at GL, but not GT - that'll make all the difference in the world! ;)

See you at Quivey's Grove this year? Yah - didn't think so!

HEY NOW - you have YET to make the GT, which I'VE invited YOU to for about the last three years. So you have no room to talk!

Quivey's Grove has Three Floyds! That one brewery would be enough! Both fests look good!

Not this year you didn't! :D Unless you count the last minute ticket sale!
And, as I've told you in the past, you can talk after you've been to Oktoberfest. 6 times! :-)

Yup. And did last year too - Alpha King and Robert the Bruce! Maybe this year the cask ale enthusiasm will have kicked in - 2 Brothers and Bell's also being present!
