Gentlemen and Ladies,
First time on the list and need advie frantically!!
Here is the situation.
We are opening a brand new Pub and are having conflicting information on Keg room size. We will be running about 16 taps with 14 different beers. The problem is that we are very limited on our room space.
First if we have a 15'x7' room we can fit our kegs in there but will have to stack kegs to have cold spares. So do we have to cold spares? If we don't how long does it usually take before you can tap a keg and not have to much foam. I have seen keg spacers but was curious if they work or not.
Basically we are running into a real problem with space and I need to come up with a solution fast. Our kitchen designer is really screwing us up and I need to try and find room fast. We have 3300 sq ft total with about 1000 sq ft kicthen and he says that this is not enough. He is trying to take an extra 500 sq ft from the dining area. I don't think he has even alloted room for the gas and CO2 tanks.
Any help would be much appreciated.
