Its time for me to break down and buy a grain mill. I am a little wary of phils because I have heard that it doesnt last as long as some of the others. I really dont know much on this subject.

Anybody have one they are happy with or heard good things about?

Thanks

no personal knowledge here, but I've read good things about Schmidling and Crankenstein... Word on the Schmidling is that the step up to the adjustable model is uneccesary...

I have no idea where to find one, or if they are commonly available but in my Lager Brewing book by Noonan he recommends a six row malt mill.

Another idea is to check out your homebrew store. Assuming you have been satisfied with the product you are getting.

When will you be building the grain silo?

Thanks for the replys.

I think I am going to go with the Malt mill by Schmidling. That one seems to have the most praise.

The grain silo is built and attached to the deck of the boat. Now to brew two kegs of each type of beer before the rain comes and begins the flood. :D

Wow that is a hell of a lot of beer. I think instead of two kegs of every type of beer, it should be two kegs of every beer. Also let me be the assistant. Since a homebrewer rarely brews the same beer twice, we'll have plenty of fun trying.

Will the Ark be big enough for us to grow grains and hops?
