I want to build a bar in my home and am looking for plans, photo's, etc. to give me some ideas. any links to such info would be greatly appreciated!

I can't tell you which plans to buy, but I would not recommend www.bar-gear.com

I purchased their plans for 25 or 30 bucks and found it not to be what I expected, although it was okay. Even if you get a few good ideas from it, it's worth the money. There are better plans out there. I actually ended up buying a 10' stainless steel bar instead, and now I just need to build the bar top and front for it.

If I were you, I would "Google up" bar plans and check out the sites. There are a ton of pictures on the websites, and if you are handy at all, you can most likely duplicate what you see. All you really need are the correct heights for the bar top, and counter top, and the rest is your imagination.

Building your bar will be a labor of love. I found this guide (http://www.kegworks.com/faqs/starting_home_bar.html) to be a huge help. Plus these guys have everything you will need to stock your bar.
