I can live with the suds from this product but I would like to know how long it will remain effective after it is mixed with water and stored at room temperature in a bucket with a lid on? I have reused it a month or more later and it seems to still be working as a sanitizer.

A solution of Star San will remain effective for up to three to four weeks in a sealed container; it is effective as long as the pH is 3 or lower. I add a bit more and stir to bring the ph in range.
