Is anyone planning on attending this fest on July 9?
Our paper made it sound like there will be some good new beers there.

I considered driving up for it and staying with friends, but it's on a Friday after work. I'd never make it. Here's the Link (http://www.empirestatebrewingfestival.com/) if you want more info. It looks like a lot of beers, even if some are mediocre and there's a malternative tent.

I have not made plans to attend yet. I have to be at work at 6 am on Sat. I would go if there were Realbeer people there.
My wife and I think we can get many of those beers at Clark's or the Tusk without paying a $20 cover.

Well the festivaa drew a sellout crowd. It seems the only tobule was peopl got unruly waiting in line for the potty. Police had to go in and calm the lines down a couple of times.
My friend's brewery, Middle Ages, won most of the awards they handed out including best NY micro.

Good to hear that it went generally smooth.
And cheers to Middle Ages! Their beers rock. I wish they'd come back to NJ...
