well summer is here and it's getting hotter everyday!
i've switched from the barleywines and pils to ipa's and double ipa's . actually bought some stone imperial stouts that will hopefully make it to the winter. im picking up a case of the yulesmith tomorrow (an ipa i think?) and i've been drinking more triples too, cinque cents, de dolle (mad bitch), allagash, piraat..ect. now what about you all? has your regular house beers changed to compensate for the heat? is it even hot everywhere else?? i imagine so, so wha cha' drinkin thsese hot summer days?

Some of my recent purchases:

Capital Special Pilsner
Lakefront Belgian White
New Holland Zoomer wit
Avery White Rascal
Tyranena Bitter Woman
Three Floyds Gumball Head
Allagash Dubbel Reserve
Ommegang Hennepin
Victory Prima Pils

A lot of Belgians, wits, and pilsners, with an IPA or two thrown in.

I'm drinking my homebrew stout because it's all I got left! Where's the place for that?

that would have been classified under "other" if they'd have let me edit my poll

Funny... it also looks like my Sweet Stout - of which I just finished a bottle. Maybe I ought to take a pic of it and replace my current avatar!

I haven't really changed what I'm drinking - I have an IPA, a dry stout, a hefe, and a pils all on tap right now and they all get equal time in my cups.

I have been drinking hefes after my hockey. Breat type of beer for this time of year and breaking a good sweat. I have turned a couple of teammates on to the style.

I'd go with that or "None of the Above"

I'm drinking Batch #17, An American Light Ale Style, 5 SRM, 5.4% ABV, 28 IBU's, With Cascade & Hallertau Hops. Bottled about 6 weeks ago. I'm happier than a pig in mud with this beer. And I have been able to do other batches of the same and have about 33 gallons drinkable right now.

Shiner Bock Draft here! With an occasional few Coronas to switch things up between kegs.

ive been doing a roundup of many of the german hefes so ive had paulaner, franziskaner, schneider weisse, and still have around some ayinger and weheinstephaner. also bought some capital pilsner recently. I wish i bought more of their beers in the past because i will miss them when i move out west. cheap, and sooo good. Bell's two hearted, one of my favorite IPAs, is in the mix, as was hennepin, which was quickly consumed with dinner one night (perhaps if i could only drink one beer for the rest of my life, it would be that, or maybe saison dupont or fantome, but it would be a saison). also lion stout, fuller's london porter (not summer-y but gooooood), and unibroue ephemere are rounding out the supply. but i clicked weisse since that was a major thrust in my summer drinking.

Mostly IPA's and pale ales... but I've been enjoying black-and-tan's recently.
