Nice surprise

I bottle. When I got home from work today, there was a surprise waiting for me. My hockey buddy who works at a bottle plant left me two cases of unused Pete's bottles.

Guess I need to brew again and fill them.

How does he get unused Pete's bottles? Don't they put the label on after they fill them? :p

He works at the manufacturing plant. He gets them off the line before labels are put on.

I notice you're in Syracuse. I thought Pete's was brewed in NC? Or do they contract brew in Utica like half the other "micros" seem to. Or maybe we're talking about different Pete's. ;)

The bottles are made here in a plant just north of Syr. It used to be a miller brewery. When the brewery shut down a number of years ago the bottle making facility was able to keep going by making bottles for may different end users.

My hockey buddy works there.
