When in St. Augustine, Fl be sure to visit the Rendezvous, 106 St. George Street, (904) 824-1090.
This quaint little establishment is hidden at the back of St. George's Row and is hard to find. But it is well worth the effort!
Boasting over 180 imports and domestics (all cans and bottles) the Rendezvous can please anyone's palate with a rare or hard to find beer.
The staff knows their stuff and can point you in the right direction.
Be careful though, with beers up to 14% in alcohol the place can ruin your vacation itinerary. You may want to stay for an extra day!

I appreciate the welcome! As for an interest, no, its just one of my favorite watering holes They reguarly stock my favorites and always have something new for me to try!
I've met some really interesting people there. From the German tourists who order Bud (something's definately wrong with them) to real "beer snobs" who can quote you specific gravity of their fav.

It is a great place. My in laws live down there and I did not find until after a couple of visits. All the bottles displayed in glass door coolers with a sign asking to please let the staff obtain your selection.

They know their beers and their service is every bit as good as Disney's.

It has been several years since I was in St. Augustine but I enjoyed it. Next time I'm sure to check that place out.
