I think I'm finally ready to make good on all the beer I owe people. The move kicked us in the butt pretty hard, but things are coming around, and I need to get this done. I'm having a problem remembering who I owe what to, though... and my inbox doesn't seem to give me enough clues. If we were involved in a beer trade and you're still waiting for me to make good on my end of it, please PM me and let's get this settled. There will be a little extra in the shipment for all of you very patient traders out there to make up for the time lost. (Please, no sarcastic remarks or phony requests for the rest of my homebrew collection; I feel bad enough about all of this as it is.)

I'm very sorry about all of this! :(

Those English beers were complementary. You owe me nothing. I was glad that you enjoyed them! Glad that your move appears to be succesful too.

You might be getting a present regardless, chaz... they were very tasty, and VERY appreciated. My Sore Loser Stout is finally coming around after about 4 months, and my IPA is losing that weird aftertaste after 2! Waiting to brew again until I've got a better place to do it and a better system than the one I have.

Good luck with it, Fret! I HATE moving even if it's across town, so I feel for you!

Cheers! Rocket

Hey Rocketman, I watched a show the other night on Discovery I think where they were talking about the project that involved landing a rocket on an asteroid. Is that your project?

Didn't hear about it! Both of you will have to fill the rest of us in.

I will be hereby refreshing this thread until I hear from everyone involved, just so you know... :)

Which mission was that? If it was the Eros landing, I didn't work on that mission. However, the Cassini mission to Saturn is scheduled for Saturn Orbit Insertion at 2230 hrs EDT on my birthday (June 30) after a 2.2 BILLION mile trip. I have two instruments on the Cassini orbiter!! I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing the data!!

Cheers! Rocket

A heartfelt NO from God's country (Colorado, for the uninitiated)... I shall make good on my debt, if only to be viewed as a reputable trader in the future (and besides, I made some pretty good beer, and SOMEONE is owed Odell's and Fat Tire, aren't they?).

Sorry dude - didn't mean to insult.....I think you (and everybody) understand where I was coming from. Just trying to help out a fellow beer fiend... :)

No offense taken. The sentiment is much appreciated, and believe me it would make things much easier on me. But everyone here deserves better than that, don'tcha think? :D

Besides, how else can I spread the good word about Odell's 90 Shilling and my very own Sore Loser Sweet Stout?

Yes but no at the expense of stressing anybody else out.

Anyway I feel like I spoke out of turn...sorry for that....that's what I get for drinking beer, huh? I am a little buzzed.....lol

No! Seriously. I DO appreciate the sentiment - I just want to make good, is all. Don't let too much alcohol give you the guilts; you're drinking, not toking! :D

PS: I am a participant in the former and not the latter....

Fret,

Congrats on the move! I've moved 3 times in 5 years, but not very far. I know it's a bitch. Good Luck from South Jersey!

Rocket,

I'll be sure to check out the Eros show on Discovery. Good luck!

I have moved 20 times in 34 years and only one move was "across town"....I can appreciate the hassle involved with moving.

I moved every year during High School, each time to a different state due to my fathers military assignments (he was doing a lot of schools like CGSC, AWC).
