When you do the post, down at the bottom you will see a "browse" button. Click that, then find where you have it on your computer and click open. It will attach a link that people can click on to see the picture. You can only attach one to each post.

If you are hosting them at another site then use the IMG button at the top of the text area. I believe you can do up to 3 per post that way.

That is what I thought, but I wanted to post a couple extra.

Here is my keggerator, 1966. I have a 20lb CO2 tank on the left outside and rubber grommets to keep the tubing protected from the sharp edges.

And a picture of the inside. The keg with the blue is Bells Best Brown Clone, and the black is American Pale Ale.

Nice rig, I must say. I think the old fridge lends a bit of character. However, I can guarantee that if you save up the money that fridge costs you in electric this year, you'd save enough to buy a new one a year from now :D

I'm aware of that. When we bought the house 5 years ago after we started to move in the frig was in the basement. I called the guy and told him he had it here. He said it worked and didn't have any place to put it. He said if I didn't want it he'd hire someone to move it out, I told him to leave it. Well 4 years later and...

Well, brand new here and wanting to show off my new toy I put together!! I've been thru a 1/4 Michelob Light (5 weeks) and a 1/6 Killian's (1 week). The dual setup is the way to go since you always have variety. Any more suggestions on what keg to try? I'm anxious for Hoegaarden, Foster's, Sam Adams, Amber Bock...etc.

Many thoughts here... the first one is, Welcome to the boards!

Very nice and neat setup. Be prepared; many here have had trouble regulating a fridge with their freezer controls - you'll get some questions I'm sure.

New Orleans? Your'e kidding, right? Well, there's no accounting for taste... good luck beating my beloved Seahawks on 9/12! ;)

And finally, we're almost all beer snobs here, but GOOD NATURED beer snobs... drink what you like, but be prepared to have many of us change your mind a bit (or try to). Are you in Louisiana? See if Abita has kegs for you - you'll be glad you did!

Again, welcome!

Cool set-up and welcome to the forum!

I'd recommend kegs from any of your local brewers. Any microbreweries or brewpubs around you?

Thanks guys,
I'm originally from N.O. but stationed in Florida. The closest pub is McGuire's, but they won't dare sell any keg off premesis ;( That sux because their Light is the best I've tasted yet! Looks like I'm stuck buying from grocery stores. I have like 10 tap handles but they hit the fridge...those 45 degree adapters should work. The kegerator is almost "too convenient", what took me so long??? 2 more pics.

Looks nice and neat and cleat! Very cool!

What part of Florida are you in? Maybe we can help you find kegs worthy of such a setup... Michelob and Killian's simply fall short for such a well-crafted kegerator! ;)

Panama City.
I heard at one time there was a microbrewery, but they folded a long time ago ;( Could I just call the local distributers for great kegs at a "discount" for bypassing the middleman? I'm looking for a good hook-up to buy all my beer from.
HELP!

Try Chevy Chase Liquors. Vienna Inn in Vienna Virginia carries a pretty good variety.

WOW!
Bought a Yuengling Lager 1/2 barrel today and it's the freshest yet. GGOOOOOOOOOOOOODD!!!!
Cheers

:D

Oh yea, is $70 for a 1/6 Hoegaarden keg a decent price? It seems a bit pricey to me...(It was only $56 for the Yuengling 1/2)

Fellas,
I have a serious question. How would you make a sign to ask for beer donations (posted near the kegerator)? What would it say without being corny or rude??
Seems like these kegs are going like water and I cannot keep up...

You might try a bit of humor...

If you really liked it you would pay for it! :)

I only accept 'donations' on poker nights, and even then i usually am reticant. I sometimes put a small can that my son decorated for fathers day near the fridge, and if people want to they can, if not, i don't care.

Straight forward, but friendly :

Put up a big cup or a small bucket with a note something like :

"Help keep the beer flowing! Donate now."

or

"Donations cheerfully accepted"

or even

"I want the party to continue; please help!"
