Grape Nuts... Brewers Cereal?

well funny story... the other day at the grocery store, i picked up a box of grape nuts (used to love em as a kid) well, last night i had a bowl, but before I did I was curious what the ingredients were...

Whole Wheat Flower
Wheat Flower
Malted Barley
Dried Yeast
Salt

mmmmm sounds like goodness to me... add a little cacade and I think i'm in heaven :-)

I love Grape Nuts, especially when you heat it up in the microwave. Really warms you up on a cold Minnesota winter day. Plus it really smells awesome, like when you are mashing grains when you are brewing! :)

Malted barley, wheat, dried yeast... sounds like all you would have to do is add water!

Careful though, when that stuff dries onto your cereal bowl, it's tougher than barnacles to scrape off!

LOL Isn't that the truth? I think they should sell it to Loctite, it would make one hell of an adhesive :D

Having scraped my fair share of barnacles, though, I gotta say that I much prefer the smell of grapenuts or a boilover. And I didn't get to drink a beer while scraping hulls, either.

Grapes are all male... but when you buy a bunch you never find any with nuts. Where do you think they all go?
