I pitched my yeast last week, and it is still going in the primary, still plenty of krausen and airlock activity.

Has anyone had a long ferment from an AG Ale before, most of mine have finished withen 4-5 days tops.

Yeast: WPL001
OG: 1.043
Temps: 65-72

The fermenter is still going, although the krausen has fallen a little. So it looks like a few more days in the primary, this should put it to ~2 weeks for primary ferment. I'm starting to worry if something went wrong. I guess I'll know in a few days when I transfer it to secondary.

Have you taken the gravity?

No not yet, it has been still pretty active, so I decided to wait it out before disturbing it. Although a gravity reading would be the more definitive way to see its progress.

For the sake of checking - I would pull a sample to test the gravity and to taste.

Checked the gravity, it is 1.012 and it tasted pretty darn good. It is a pale ale on the hopy / fruity side. I guess the yeast was getting used to the lazy summer days
