this is a recipe i call smoked corriander honey ale
1/2 lbs smoked grain (forgot what type)
1 3/4 lbs honey
2 cans coopers light LME
1 oz cascade whole hops ( boiling)
1 oz fuggles whole hops (finishing)
2 tsp crush corriander seeds
2 tsp gypsum
1 tsp irish moss
1 pkg safale s-04 ale yeast
put gypsum and grains in 1.75 gallons of water brought to a boilthen removed grains. left off the heat and added the honey and 2 cans of coopers.brought back to a boil added cascade hopsfor 60 min boil with 30 mins left added the irish moss with 5 mins left added the fuggles hops pitched yeast around 75 degrees.

this one bubbled in the fermentor for about a week og was 1.058
the eg was 1.018.

next time, don't boil your specialty grains. You most likely extracted tannins from the grain, which will give it an astringent taste. You want to steep grains no higher than 170ºF, I put mine in with the cold water and pull them at about 165ºF.

other than that, it looks pretty tasty. I got to sample an award winning Rauch homebrew a few weeks ago, I really liked it...
