Ok,....

Let's get down to it.

Who, (in your opinion, of course) pours the most delicious, exquisite, made on the premises, pint of ale in the San Francisco Bay area brew-pub scene?

Ok,
Let's try this again. (Can't fathom it's complicated)

Brewed where it's poured.
Brewpub.
Brewery with bar. Where what they made is served.

What beer was it?

I'm just a moron....please help me by being specific.

That's really kind of hard to nail down to just one. There are so many great breweries in the Bay Area and surrounding areas. The USIPA at 21st Amendment is great. So is Spud Boy's IPA from Magnolia. Jack's is Fremont makes great beers. So do the North Bay/Sonoma County breweries. And there are great breweries in the South Bay/Santa Cruz area.

Sorry, can't just choose one.

My wife and I were just talking about our SFO trip over the weekend.

Out of 6 brewpubs visited, my two favorites were the Double IPA (Not sure if that was the name of it, but it was something like that) at 21st Amendment and the Blue Bell Bitter on the hand pump at Magnolia.

My wife liked Thirsty Bear's Hefe and San Francisco Brewing Co's ESB.

Beautiful,....thank you.
Just the kind of answers I'm looking for.

Stodbrew,... your obviously a profesional brewer, (if that's your pic)...so I can understand your diplomacy....still, if you could narrow it down to two I'd greatly appreciate it.(Stoddard's?)

I know there are many in the SF/Monterey bay area so I'm just asking for what comes to mind as a very strong reccomendation.

Thanks again and please keep the choices/comments comming.

Cheers,
JB

Well, if I have to narrow it down to two, I'd have to say the US IPA at 21st Amendment in SF and the Resolution Red at Seabright in Santa Cruz. Both really great beers.

And, yep, I'm the brewer at Stoddard's. So, as far as the beers there, well, you're just going to have to come in and try them for yourself! :D
