Where can you find the best microbrew selection near the Minneapolis area. I have been to several liquor stores that have a comprehensive selection, however I feel I cannot find a decent portion of the midwest brewed beers that are being discussed on these posts.
Thanks for any help!

Take it for what it's worth (as I live in New England), but try this link:
http://www.beeradvocate.com/beerfly/list?path=%2Fbeerfly%2Flist&sort=name&name=&city=minneapolis&s_id=MN&c_id=&zip=&area=&submit=+search+&store=Y
If it fails, it looks like these two get the highest ratings in town:
*Surdyk's Liquors
303 East Hennepin Avenue
*Zipp's Liquors
2618 East Franklin Avenue
Cheers and happy hunting!

Also, check out The Cellars and Blue Max. They're in various 'burbs...
Where are you? Also consider that since All Saints distributing went out of business awhile ago, we're still just getting some of the high end beers back in. We still can't get 3 Floyds in MN yet...

I live on the University of Minnesota campus. So I'm pretty central. I'm also more than willing to travel 15-20 mins into the burbs to find a good selection. Thanks for the advice!

Definitely Cellars...several locations; my last trip to MN, I came home with about $100 worth of Rogue, Victory, and imports too numerous to mention.
