Free Brewery Tours and Tasting -
Our next scheduled tours will be given Saturday, April 24, and Saturday,
May 15, (1 & 2:30 pm). As always, there will be complimentary samples
after the tour. For the April tour we will be sampling our coming new
release - Heavy Seas - Red Sky at Night - a Belgian Style Saison.

Brews News:
Due to be released at the end of May is our new Belgian style Saison -
Heavy Seas Red Sky at Night! This beer should clock in right around 8%
alcohol by volume, is brewed with a special Belgian yeast culture, and
is also made with special Belgian rock candy sugar (for authenticity).
Stay tuned for details.
Our Winter Storm - "Category 5 Ale" - was selected by Racer's Cafe, in
their annual holiday beer sampling, as the Best Maryland Christmas Beer.
Also, Winter Storm was selected best of the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast in
its category by the United States Beer Tasting Championships in its
winter competition. Congratulations to our brewers.
Small Craft Warning - our "Uber Pils" currently in release - is doing
quite well. I am pleased to report that we are getting huge amounts
of consumer email (and even phone messages!) on this beer. Thank you
everyone for your enthusiasm. We work very hard and it is always nice
to know when people are enjoying your work! If you haven't tried this
one yet, please check it out.
The Wascally Web:
We recently began reworking our website to include the Heavy Seas line
and to improve our merchandise section. We also changed the entire look.
Very soon you will finally be able to order non-beer merchandise on line
and actually have it arrive (we are slowly getting better at this stuff).

Maryland Brewer's Springfest
Saturday, May 8, Frederick Fairgrounds (in Frederick naturally),
noon to 9 pm, rain or shine. Come celebrate spring with the Maryland

Saturday, June 5, three sessions beginning at noon, Penn Brewery,

Honfest

8 pm. A great annual event for all persons Bawlamer. Featuring our beers

Saturday and Sunday, June 19 & 20, noon to 10 pm (Saturday), noon
to 7 pm (Sunday), Timonium Fairgrounds (just north of Baltimore).
