Flying Dog Heller Hound

Very simple:
This beer tastes much like an MGD, only fresher, lighter, less mass-produced, and slightly more bitter. It has a bit more hop flavor, too. The mouthfeel is lighter, and it doesn't dull the tastebuds. There's a faint esteriness in the background that's almost there, but not really... It pours a rich yellow color with a faint hint of amber. It has a short head that fades quickly.
Guaranteed to delight the MGD drinker. True beer lovers won't complain, but they won't rave over it either.

Does it have that underlying bland corn flavor and DMS aroma MGD has? Blech - I hope not.

Kinda... it's still there, but weak.
I've been unimpressed by all the Flying Dog beers I've tried. This sounded really good, but it ended up being the most underwhelming yet.
Others may find pleasure in this beer, but I don't. And I don't see tons of others jumping into this thread to defend this beer. Judge for yourself, but if you can buy this one bottle at a time, buy ONE before committing to a six-pack.
