Just heard an advertisement about Bud's new product, Day Fresh. Apparently its only a day old after being brewed. They are handing it out at clubs. Now you can have a fresh garbage beer. Has anyone heard of this too? Has anyone actually tried it?

It sounds like a personal hygiene product. Probably tastes like it too!

I guess I should have said it's a day old after the brewing process including fermentation.

Lagered one day? That's an oxymoron

That makes a little more sense - but I'd still rather go to the local brewpub where it's really fresh!

BTW - Laneto, about your signature line, would a Trappist proverb really be turned into a polka? ;)

Maybe, I got that line from Michael Jackson video tape "The Beer Hunter". Polkas can ruin a good thing.

Are you sure this wasn't one of those saturday night live commercials for "Bad idea jeans?"
("No I didn't wear a condom, but when will I ever be back to Haiti?")

sounds like a feminine hygiene product
I think I'd rather drink my own urine (it wouldn't even
have to be chilled!!!)

I think I remember hearing about this somewhere, but I remember it as something like shipped one day after bottling, or in the store one day after bottling, something like that insetead of only "lagered" one day. I remember thinking it was A-B flexing their distrubution muscles to market their "freshness".

If only they would flex their financial muscles, and their knowledge-base muscles, and produce a good beer!

I just found out today that my neice has received an internship with AB in Williamsburg. Something to do with environmental testing. Making sure they are meeting code or something like that. Although I am no fan of AB I am proud she is working in the brewing industry. A good place to start!

Let her get some good job experience, line up a better job, then perhaps a reinactment of that kentucky distillery that went up in flames a couple of weeks ago. I'm assuming they just pour alochol into the horse piss before they bottle it. They probably have a pretty large building stockpiled with fuel waiting to burn :)

Scariest ride in Busch Gardens is definitely the brewery tour!
