For me the most challenging(and therefore most fun) is a czech pils - so my vote is for light lager.

I agree with Fast Eddy. Lighter beers are more fun to brew due to the challenge involved. For my summer seasonal, I brew a very American style Kristall Weizen. That pretty much means boring as hell, IMO. It's very popular, and, admittedly, goes down very well on a hot summer day in the brewery, but it is by far my least favorite style I brew. But there is nothing to hide behind. Any flaw, no matter how small, will be glaringly obvious. And that is what makes brewing it fun.

See, I am completely different. I love huge heavy beers. Its not that I love drinking them as much as when I go to the LHBS my eyes swell up and I start buying every grain I can find. A little of this and that and Boom, No more pale ales :(

I like brewing high gravity beers.

Everyone remember that beer is your friend and we can't fight over that.

I am with Eddy and Stod. One of my favorite to make is an adjunct based light beer, nowhere to run and hide if you screw it up.
