These days, I'm leaning towards flavorful, robust session beers with a little more body than a Pale Ale.
If you haven't tried this one, seek it out. I've only had it in the 22 ounce bottle.
This red ale from Rogue really hits the mark:
Great complex flavors; the nice, chewy texture adds up to excellent mouthfeel. There's a lot going on in this beer, malt and hops wise - I think it's the Chinook hops that add the delicious, oily, almost funky bitterness that I taste throughout. What a satisfying northwest brew.
