Just wondering why my post about the Battle of the beers earlier today was removed. Did I break a rule?

Posts may only be removed by a moderator (you'll see that name if a forum has a moderator) and by me when I remember the secret admin password.

I can't remember when I last had to remove a post, but when I do I always send the poster an email explaining why.

It is possible to hit some magic combination of words that causes a post to go to a waiting area where it must be arrpoved. (Really, I've never figured out why that happens with some posts - although lots of caps seems to be a start.)

There are no posts sitting in that area now.

Prosit,
Stan Hieronymus

My mistake guys. The home computer wasn't working well last night. My son, the gamer, changed some settings (not entirely sure what they were) and I was seeing a "cached" page. Make sense to anyone? Anyway, the post is there and I look like dork.

Yeah, that makes sense. Your browser will often return to a "cached" page if you haven't logged off and back on (the browser, that is). The refresh button will alleviate the trouble and give you an updated view.

YEH! Drop down menus, TOOLS, Internet Options, General, Setting and NEVER for the page refresh. You can force refresh by holding down Control (or Shift) as you press F5.
